Education
Master of Science in Range Science emphasizing soils and hydrology in Juniper woodlands, 1999, Utah State University, Logan, Utah.
Bachelor of Arts degree, biology major emphasizing ecological systems, 1991, Lawrence University, Appleton, Wisconsin, cum laude for Honors Project, "The Structural Analysis of Mosquito Hill Prairie."
Interests
My interests reside in watershed management, hydrocarbon contaminated soils, contamination of PCBs and pesticides in a global aspect, plant, soil, and hydrology relationships with respect to nutrient uptake and storage. In the Ehleringer lab I work on a project looking at plant, water, soil interactions and nutrient uptake.
Out side of the lab I love to surf, swim, work in my garden and spend time with my husband and kitty.
