Rush jobs: Samples are generally analyzed with a priority basis: Biology-related samples first, University of Utah samples second, and off-campus samples third. If a researcher has the need for accelerated analysis, a surcharge of 50% will be added to the rate/sample listed above which will quarantee analysis within 5 working days upon receipt of the samples. All rush analyses must be arranged in advance to assure that the proper instrument is available.
* These fees are "per job" received if samples are to be billed by the individual job. If the samples to be analyzed are to be paid by a campus order or purchase order, then a time frame over when samples are to be provided to SIRFER must be furnished as well as an estimate of the total number of samples that are expected to be analyzed.  We reserve the right to bill samples at a higher "per-sample" rate if the total number of samples analyzed falls less than the projected number. Generally, sample analyses to be paid by campus orders or purchase orders are for periods of less than 2 months.
Effective on new jobs received after July 1, 2006
