Isotope Patterns Across Spatial Scales (Isoscapes)

We scale our process-level understanding from a single location to broader spatial scales using a geographic information system. Our interest is to develop and test models to predict the basis of spatial patterns of the isotopic compositions of animal, plants, and their components across landscapes and then to apply this understanding to anthropological, ecological, hydrological, and social questions.
